When a line is perpendicular to a plane it forms multiple right angles and stands directly away from the plane. In this picture the frame resting on top of the desk represents the perpendicular line meeting the plane. Both of these objects, the desk and frame, are located in my room. The desk can be used as a study space or to hold things within it; the frame can be used to hold pictures.
